Resume

Education

  1. Oregon State Univeristy

    2020 — 2024

Bachelor of Science in Computer Science with a focus in cybersecurity, obtained from the College of Engineering at Oregon State University, maintaining a GPA of 3.4 throughout four years of dedicated studies.

  2. Health and Science High School

    2016 — 2020

Attended Health and Science High School, an engineering and science-based option school, achieving a GPA of 3.62 while exploring a diverse range of STEM subjects.

Projects

  1. Cybersecurity Capstone Project

    Sep 2023 — Present

At Oregon State University SOC, I collaborated with a team of three students to enhance and maintain the BeaverCTF & BeaverCDS framework, a Kubernetes-based Capture The Flag competition deployment platform. We worked closely with the Oregon State University Security Operations Center (SOC) to host the DamCTF competition on Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE). My responsibilities included adapting the source code of BeaverCTF & BeaverCDS for modern GKE environments, gaining proficiency in Python programming, Kubernetes orchestration, and cloud APIs. I contributed to the success of the DamCTF competition by ensuring a stable and efficient deployment environment.

  2. OTP with IPC and Sockets

    April 2023 — June 2023

I showcased my expertise in C programming and Socket Programming. This endeavor allowed me to proficiently evaluate and differentiate various Inter-Process Communication (IPC) methods for effective data exchange, as well as grasp the intricacies of the Client-Server communication model. Additionally, I critically assessed server designs to enhance performance and created encryption and decryption programs using C, exemplifying my commitment to security and software development excellence.

  3. Hiking Database

    May 2021 — June 2021

I honed my skills in web development and teamwork. Leveraging HTML, CSS, JavaScript, SQL, Git, and Node.js, I spearheaded the creation of a dynamic web application that facilitated seamless communication between the user interface and a SQL-based backend database. This transformation enabled users to effortlessly access and modify hiking-related data. I introduced interactive features such as search, data filtering, and user authentication, significantly elevating the user experience and data retrieval process. My expertise in writing SQL queries further empowered users to retrieve, update, and manage hiking-related information efficiently. My collaborative effort within a team encompassed requirements gathering, thorough testing, and responsive user feedback implementation, reflecting my commitment to delivering user-centric solutions.
